The total came to around $120( plus tip!). We arrived as a party of 3 (2 adults, and a baby!) And they sat us promptly since this was right as they opened. Our server was kind and didn't try to rush us at all. They also let us know their uni special since they had uni from two locations (which is why the picture has two different types of uni!) The agedashi tofu order was delicious but way too big so be careful when eating it since it's super big for the chopsticks. The Tomi Bento was surprisingly big and so delicious. I'd order it again in a heartbeat but I am tempted to try their other lunch offers! The sushi rolls itself was great - I favored the avocado with salmon roll. Be careful when coming here - the lines get long super fast as soon as their doors open! After 15 minutes upon open, they already had a line out the door!

Really fresh fish from what feels like a small family business. Service was a little slow but that was understandable because the place was so packed. Came on a weekend for dinner and waited for a while to be seated. But I'd say it was well worth it for the quality of the food.

Found a good place to get in Sunnyvale. Same owner as the one in Saratoga Food was great. Fish was fresh. Would come back again

I love this place so much. One of the best Japanese restaurants in MTV imo. I've been here a few times but came for lunch to grab the lunch combo. The soup it came with was a delicious salmon bone miso. So rich and warming. The lunch combo I got was perfect for a quick lunch. The sashimi pieces were thick! And tasted so good while shoveling rice and salad down. The chicken teriyaki was alright - definitely not the best char or flavor for teriyaki but still solid simple protein choice. The service is quick once you sit down- got my soup and hot tea in the first few minutes of ordering. The vibe is a classic Japanese restaurant and there's a lot of chatter throughout as people are enjoying their food + drinking. Great spot and so excited for them to celebrate their anniversary soon!

Good spot located on the outskirts of Downtown Mountain View . Got the sushimi dinner (2 pc tuna , 2pc yellowfin, 3pc hamachi, 3 pc salmon, salad, miso soup). I really really liked the wasabi they gave because it gave the food a nice spice . It was a bit loud inside but otherwise a comfy spot foe a date night, catchup, or any other occasion. Total came out to $103 for 4 people (udon, sashimi dinner, tonkatsu dinner, spanish mackerel dinner). Overall, I think the sashimi dinner was worth it. It's a bit of a wait but definitely a place to check out!

Bit of a wait, but worth it! In person waitlist. Very warm and quick service. Cute and lively atmosphere. Amazing value especially for the sushi dinner ($28). Few of my rolls fell apart slightly but the seafood was fresh and heard it rotates often. Would definitely come back in the future.

7/8/2024 Sushi Tomi 635 W Dana St Mountain View, CA 94040 We went there for lunch on Monday around 12:30. It's a cozy setup with the sushi bar and a row of tables on the LHS and a larger dining only area on the RHS. We got a table immediately and since this was the first time we needed extra time to review the menus, the waitress came by twice to check if we were ready to order while promptly bringing us requested glasses of water. I got the two item lunch with Saba Shioyaki and Tempura, Wifey got the Nabeyaki Udon soup which also came with a side of tempura. My Miso soup was brought quickly and this is the best I ever had, with lots of vegetables, tofu and some cubes of salmon. My Saba was really juicy and the tempura variety was very good. Service was prompt and helpful. The quality and quantity of food was excellent, a really good value. Definite repeat and a new favorite.
